sometimes patterns require updates.

Updates can be in the form of a correction, clarification or change of formatting.

New Editions

In May of 2025, new editions of the following patterns were released with new look, fabric layout diagrams and/or updated instructions:

Anne of Green Gables - AEGG0924

  • Note that the finished dimensions of the quilt are 55 1/2" x 70 1/4". The cover of the first release read 58 1/2" x 76 1/4".
  • The fabric listed on the back cover for the TEAPOT/TEACUPS should be Bee Vintage CAROL CLOUD, not Bee Vintage Suzanne Coral.

Blowing Up Bunnies - AEBU0423

  • In the original printing, the cutting guide on page 11 listed piece "aa" to cut, but it is not needed.
  • In the original printing, the cutting guide on page 11 listed the need for 2 "g" pieces and 4 "j" pieces, but this is reversed.You need 4 "g" pieces and 2 "j" pieces.
  • In the original printing, some of the quantities needed for the bubble gum pieces on page 15 were incorrect and should be: bb x 4, ii x 2, jj x 1, kk x 1, ll x 2, mm x 2
  • In the original printing, on page 20 piece bb x 2 is missing, but is included in the full quilt cutting guide

Choppy Waters - AEQCCW0321

The first printing of the pattern is missing the following written instructions on page 4 despite the images for these instructions being present.

Stitch & flip the following:

  • One L piece to the bottom right corner of piece I
  • Two L pieces to the bottom corners of the two J pieces
  • One L piece to the bottom left corner of piece K

Dinorama: T-REX ON ROLLER SKATES - AEDR0525

  • P.11 Piece "P" in the diagram and instructions is mislabelled. It should be piece "o."
  • P.15 Piece "z" in the diagram and instructions is mislabelled. It should be piece "y."

Giddy Up! A Horse Quilt - AEGU0925

  • P.11 Piece "P" in the digram and instructions is mislabelled. It should be piece "o."

Fabric requirement on the back cover for Limbs (Light) was changed to 1/2 yard (from 1/3 yard). No changes to interior of pattern.

Gone Fishing - AEGF0324

  • In the fabric requirements on the back cover, it is listed that one of the fish fabrics is Pom Pom in Misty, however, this should be Pom Pom in Peony. Pom Pom in Misty does not exist.

Kidding Around - Goats in Pajamas - AEQCKA0119

- the labels in the diagram for the “Right Facing” and ”Left Facing” goats are swapped on page 15 & 16. Fixed 09/27/23.

  • P.11 Piece "P" in the digram and instructions is mislabelled. It should be piece "o."

Mad Quilt Party - AGMQ0325

  • In the first printing, on pages 26 & 31, the tip of the Cheshire Cat's tail is labelled "cc", however, this should be labelled "dd."
  • In the first printing, on page 61, there should be two "b" pieces listed in the cutting guide, not one. This does not affect fabric requirements.

Mini Coos - AEMC1123

  • The fabric requirements listed on the back of the pattern for the backing fabric should read 4 yards (for a fabric 42" wide). If you are using a wide back, you will need 2 yards.

Propeller Quilt - AEPQ1022

  • Note that the final dimensions of the Queen Size quilt are 92" x 92" (not 94" x 94") and that the dimensions of the King Size are 106" x 92" (not 106" x 94").

Red Pandas - AERP0322

  • The first printing of the pattern, fabric requirements on the back cover state you need 0.1 m (0.2 yds) of Panda Medium Fabric to make the single block, however you need 0.25 m (0.3 yds)
  • The first printing of the pattern, the middle images for the Upper and Lower Pandas on page 10 were swapped.
  • The first printing of the pattern, page 10 (midway down), the diagram shows stitching two A pieces to the top of piece kk, however, one of those pieces should be piece L, the piece in the diagonal opposing corner of piece mm.

Sew Place Like Home - the Complete Project

  • Page 14, in the instruction "Using the i piece and the c piece" the "c" should be a capital letter "C" as it is of the Background fabric.
  • In the Tin Woodman cutting guide fabric layout, background pieces L & M have their labels swapped (page 26).
  • In the first printing of the book, the dimensions of piece ee on page 68 (Emerald City Block) are missing. piece ee should measure 2.5" x 8.25".

Tail Wags - A Puppy Quilt - AETW1123

  • In the first printing of the pattern, there were a few incorrect pieces represented in the background fabric layout on pages 6 & 7.
  • On page 22 in the first diagrams, the B piece should appear to overlap the dd piece when stitched & flipped to the hh piece. The sizes listed in the cutting guide are correct.
  • On page 22, the Body Unit should measure 9.25" x 4.25". There was typo and it was listed as 9.25" x 4.35".

Welcome to My Pad - AEWP0525

  • In the first printing of the new edition, the FLY UNITS were made at 3 1/2" instead of 2 1/2". This threw the quilt assembly off. Each FLY UNIT should measure 2 1/2" x 5 1/2". To accommodate the change, the following pieces should be as such:

- N, 2 1/2" x 6 1/4"

- P, 2" x 20 1/2"

- Q, 1" x 33 1/2"

- aa, 1 1/2" x 20 1/2"

- bb, 2" x 33 1/2"

If you already made your FLY UNITS at 3 1/2", you can simply trim them down by cutting a 1/2" off the top and a 1/2" off the bottom of each unit.

IN ADDITION:

  • Piece i should be 1 1/4" x 2"
  • Piece o should be 1 1/2" x 10 1/4"
  • One h piece is missing from the fabric layout.

(BONUS BLOCK):

  • Piece v is missing from the cutting guide (2 1/4" x 11 1/2") -page 11.
  • Piece i should be 1 1/4" x 2"
  • You only need 2 j pieces, not 3 - page 11.
  • Pieces v and o are incorrectly labelled on the top diagram as k & p - page 13.

Wonderful Woodland Quilt - AEQCWW0920

  • Prior to February 2022, page 3, Moose Block Step 2, the Back Body Unit, the measurement of the units should measure 11" not 11.25", as stated
  • In the first print of the 2022 release edition (38 pages), the fabric requirements for the MED/LIGHT BROWN and LIGHT BROWN are swapped.
  • In the porcupine block (page 16), it states that pieces G & h should be cut at 15", however, if you only have a 12" cut of fabric you may cut these pieces at 12". This will work just as well as you are creating two half-square triangles. You will have enough from the two HSTs to cut all the strips you need.
  • In the Bear Block, piece M should measure 1.5" in width as opposed to the 1" listed. This will also make the final dimensions of the block 16" x 18.5". This additional 1/2" allowed for the elimination of an additional seam between this block and its neighbour, the caribou.
