While we always strive to bring you the best pattern experience possible, sometimes patterns require updates. Updates can be in the form of a correction, clarification or change of formatting.

The fabric requirements listed on the back of the pattern for the backing fabric should read 4 yards (for a fabric 42" wide). If you are using a wide back, you will need 2 yards.
Note that the finished dimensions of the quilt are 55 1/2" x 70 1/4". The cover of the first release read 58 1/2" x 76 1/4".
Note that the final dimensions of the Queen Size quilt are 92" x 92" (not 94" x 94") and that the dimensions of the King Size are 106" x 92" (not 106" x 94").
In the first printing of the pattern, there were a few incorrect pieces represented in the background fabric layout on pages 6/7.

- the labels in the diagram for the “Right Facing” and ”Left Facing” goats are swapped on page 15 & 16. Fixed 09/27/23.
-In the original printing, the cutting guide on page 11 listed piece "aa" to cut, but it is not needed.
-In the original printing, the cutting guide on page 11 listed the need for 2 "g" pieces and 4 "j" pieces, but this is reversed. You need 4 "g" pieces and 2 "j" pieces.
-In the original printing, some of the quantities needed for the bubble gum pieces on page 15 were incorrect and should be: bb x 4, ii x 2, jj x 1, kk x 1, ll x 2, mm x 2
-In the original printing, on page 20 piece bb x 2 is missing, but is included in the full quilt cutting guide

- In the first printing of the book, the dimensions of piece ee on page 68 (Emerald City Block) are missing. piece ee should measure 2.5" x 8.25".
- The first printing of the pattern is missing the following written instructions on page 4 despite the images for these instructions being present:
Stitch & flip the following:
One L piece to the bottom right corner of piece I
Two L pieces to the bottom corners of the two J pieces
One L piece to the bottom left corner of piece K
- Back cover of pattern updated to reflect a change in the quantity of material needed for "Frog (light) fabric". This quantity should be 0.2 metres | 0.2 yards for both the materials needed per block or whole quilt.
-Cutting guide for the Blocking Jay on page 2 has the dimensions swapped for pieces K & L. K should measure 2" x 2" while L should measure 1" x 1".
- The first printing of the pattern, fabric requirements on the back cover state you need 0.1 m (0.2 yds) of Panda Medium Fabric to make the single block, however you need 0.25 m (0.3 yds)
- The first printing of the pattern, the middle images for the Upper and Lower Pandas on page 10 were swapped.
- mid page on page 10, the diagram shows stitching two A pieces to the top of piece kk, however, one of those pieces should be piece L, the piece in the diagonal opposing corner of piece mm.
- 10/16/2021 the fabric requirements for the large version of the quilt were updated. Requirements were slightly less than what was needed only if you were making all 4 of your mammoths the same colour.
- Back cover of pattern updated to reflect a change in the quantity of material needed for the lap size quilt. The quantity of fabric needed of background fabric should be 2.1 metres or 2.3 yards as opposed to 1.75 metres or 1.8 yards.
-Back cover of pattern updated to reflect a change in the quantity of material needed for the lap size quilt. The quantity of fabric needed of backing fabric should a piece measuring 63" x 73". This piece can be made up of fabric of different widths and the yardage will vary based on the width of fabric used and directionality of print.
- Prior to December 2020, piece u was missing from the Moose Cutting Guide on page 2. Piece u should measure 2.5" x 2.5".
- Prior to March 2021, on page 7, Step 2 of the Black Bear Block, the dimensions of the JqI unit are listed as 2.75" x 5.5" when they should be 2.5" x 5.5".
- Prior to February 2021, on page 8 under the Head Unit for the Beaver Block, the final width of piece q in the Teeth Unit was listed as being 1/4" when it should be 1/8".
- Prior to September 2021, on page 13 of the Fox Block, the written direction was missing in Step 3 the Front Body Unit to stitch & flip two I pieces to the bottom corners of the unit before placing the unit aside.
- Prior to February 2022, page 3, Moose Block Step 2, the Back Body Unit, the measurement of the units should measure 11" not 11.25". as stated.
In the first print of the 2022 release edition (38 pages), the fabric requirements for the MED/LIGHT BROWN and LIGHT BROWN are swapped. In the porcupine block (page 16), it states that pieces G & h should be cut at 15", however, if you only have a 12" cut of fabric you may cut these pieces at 12". This will work just as well as you are creating two half-square triangles. You will have enough from the two HSTs to cut all the strips you need.
